>Roxio Creator Review
When you see a multimedia program that is filled with so many features, you kind of ask yourself the question if all these feature are worth your time and money as well as effort to understand them. Let’s face it; we want to use a program that you can take advantage of in its full functionality. The good news is that with Roxio Creator, you have everything that you need plus more functional features. The add ons included in this suite are exceptionally useful.
The most astounding feature of the new Roxio Creator would have to be the 3D video and image support. Almost all formats for 3D are supported and that includes top-bottom, anaglyph and side by side. You can create and import RealD content. Sadly, when it comes to Fuji 3D MPO, you can only import them. The cool thing is that if you purchase this, you can enjoy the included (cheap) 3D cardboard glasses.
With the Roxio Creator, you can transform 2D movies into a 3D format. However, you cannot do that to HD videos. That is a slight setback if you would ask me. The results are pretty surprising because they actually work especially for Anaglyph. It is very easy to add a 3D feature on 2D images you can even assemble two images take inches apart and transform them into a dazzling 3D image. If you have a 3D video or image and you wish to create a 3D DVD, it is just a cinch. On top of that, you can mix 3D and 2D on your compilation.
Another disappointing thing is that BluRay support is not available in the standard version but it is available in the Pro version. The plug in, if you want to get one is on a pricey side. The good thing about it, though, is that it lowers the costs for people who do not have any BluRay drives. Even if you cannot make BluRay discs, you can create AVCHD discs and they contain up to 1 hour of HD content.
When it comes to Video Wave, Roxio’s video editing tool, a new addition is offered and that is video stabilization. You can also enjoy faster video rotation.
When it comes to the interface, it is really similar to the 2010 version and the classic programs are still present. It also boasts of a core disc burning as well as editing feature. There is also a photo editor and a backup tool. You can also enjoy media streaming care of the Roxio Streamer.
Overall, the new Roxio Creator 2011 truly was an improvement of last year’s offerings. If you are an existing user, you will not find it hard to use the features and new users can enjoy included tutorials to give the most out of their media experience. The standard version is pretty much packed already and the Pro version very promising as well. If you want to utilize the BluRay feature, you would have to pay an extra cost for it. Nonetheless, it is a very useful product to use.
