>How to burn AVI to DVD
Downloaded Movies and Videos are normally in the .AVI file format, this can be a problem when you want to burn it onto a DVD and watch it on your television’s DVD Player as it cannot play .AVI files directly.
The solution to being able to watch AVI files on your DVD player is by converting it into DVD format, this can be achieved by using ConvertXtoDVD software that allows you to convert the AVI file into DVD.
To convert the AVI to DVD you will need the following;
- ConvertXtoDVD
- A blank writable DVD
Once you have the following you can begin to burn AVI to DVD.

Once you have purchased and downloaded ConvertXtoDVD, proceed to open the program, once you have opened it you should see this Window Below:
Start by pressing the “+” Icon, as highlighted in the screenshot above, this will open a prompt asking for you to add the files, select the file you want and once added you should see it added like in the screenshot below.
Once your ready to start burning, simply click the convert button that can be found in the lower half of the program this will start the converting process.
You will see it playing the video on the side, this means it’s converting the DVD, this is an example of it converting it to DVD format
Once it has completed converting the video all that remains is to burn the DVD, you will need a blank writable DVD Disc to start the burning process, below you can see you have to specify the DVD Drive you want to use and the Volume Name refers to the DVD Title
Put in your CD and then click the “Burn” button and the burning process will start, this means once its completed you will have a DVD that works in DVD Players.
Once the burning has completed it will prompt you saying it has been completed, now simply put the DVD in your DVD player and it will play without any problem! Enjoy
Your DVD will now play in all DVD Players, Computers, and other devices that support the DVD technology.
