>Alcohol 120% Review

There are two extreme trends in CD burning software. One end is on the media suite end, where full media experience can be managed and edited before you transform your video to a DVD output. Then there are the simple burners. These are the simple, spare, yet highly efficient programs that can be used to burn CDs and sometimes other file formats. One can say that choosing between these two trends can be nerve racking. It is really crazy which one to choose. For someone who really does not like too much work for their CD burning experience, something like Alcohol 120% might be helpful for you. It has the simplicity that you need but maybe it is too simple. Let’s find out.

Alcohol 120% was developed by Alcohol Soft and it is a simple CD burning program that you can use to create CDs that are high quality. It is a very popular program since the developers are known for producing very simple, easy to use yet intuitive programs that are also easy to set up and install. However, if you are a Windows Vista user, then you might want to avoid this one since it does not work on this particular OS. Maybe they will be able to remove the bug at a later time.

Let’s talk about features. For someone who wants to create a proper, high quality CD, you will love that this program does the job well. It has the tools that you will need for that particular task. The problem though is being too simple. They lack some useful customization features that are offered by the competitors. It is also disappointing that it is lacking the backup feature if Alcohol 120% had these features, it would be one of the better programs that you can consider using. It is good, but not that great. For its price, they should really have invested on some little additional features.

When it comes to using the program, you will be happy to know that this program is quite easy to use. However, the program is selective on what is easy to use. Burning a CD is very easy. There are no problems whatsoever when it was tested. The problem is that when choosing to burn specific tracks, the process is not as convenient. Again, it does not have a drag and drop functionality and that means you cannot delete individual tracks. It is such a shame that they do not make it easier for people to customize their files that they want to burn.

Even if there are some really unfavorable aspects since Alcohol 120%  seems to lack some important details, this is a really good product to burn you some CDs that are really good quality. If you just like burning CDs, it is a really good option. Sadly, if you need a data disk, you cannot depend on this program to manage your tasks. They should have really thought about it but nonetheless, it is excellent for what it can do to your CD burning experience.
